We all carry something of God

I'm stepping out on a new journey. A journey that has been prophesied to me for years but always seemed to loom in my future. God is saying the time is now. So I welcome you to come along with me on my adventure. This adventure looks like doing my best to put into words what God speaks to my heart. It was a bit overwhelming to think about where to start. Then God, in His goodness, spoke the following to my heart.

We all carry something of Him.
That is really profound when you think about it.
We need to know that we carry something of Him in order to really engage it and walk in it. We all carry something of God that others need. Others need what you carry. And it's ok to need what those around you carry.

The key is in the acknowledgement. Acknowledge that you carry a part of God. Even if you can't quite articulate what it is--that's ok. Begin by just showing up. Fully you. Fully knowing that God put a part of Himself in you that will bless those around you.

If you are like me, then you have experienced the enemy doing all he can to shut you down. Our enemy wants us to think that we have nothing to offer. It's because he knows that the part of God that we carry is dangerous to his kingdom of destruction. Meaning, when we show up knowing that we carry a part of God--even if we don't know exactly what it is--we are advancing the kingdom of God and doing damage to the kingdom of darkness. That is, personally, my heart's desire.

I invite you to pray with me.
Lord, I agree that I carry a part of you. I agree that I carry something significant. I carry something that others need. I say "yes" to you, God. I will show up and let your light shine through me!
